Vet Visit - 1st vaccinations

  Rounding up all 8 curious pups was an interesting event. Thankfully the staff at Princevalle Pet Hospital in Gilroy was kind enough to move the crate from the truck to the office & back to the truck again. All I had to do was hold the door. This was my first visit with Dr. Stubchare and most certainly not my last. Her clear informative manner makes receiving  information easy to grasp and communication seamless. The staff was so friendly and gushing over the litter.(can't blame them, who can resist?) I think Misty has a crush on Pearl.... but Pearl took a fancy to Janette. Nemo & Nigel worked their magic on Dr. Stubchare. Such flirts those two boys are!! I'm happy to report the pups are in good health. Kudos to all for no dramatics. Not one single cry baby! They all took their shoot like big dogs.

The only minor issue that came up was of no great alarm. Nigel & Pearl have VERY SMALL umbilical hernias that are VERY common & NOT a cause for alarm. NOTHING needs to be done until spay/neuter. At that time they will need 2 or 3 small sutures. Again, NOT A BIG DEAL.The vet assured me this is not something that will cause any predisposed medical issue. It just simply happens to dogs, cats, babies & adults.  She showed me what it looks like & it's kinda like they have a little "outie" belly button. Other than that they're in GREAT health!!!

More good news- All boys testicles have dropped so no worry of retained testicles!!!!
